It was great to see Sarah & Will again after their lovely Olbrich Gardens Engagement session last summer. We started the day with a first look, followed by wedding portraits in the gardens.
The best part about doing photos before the wedding is that you can enjoy your wedding celebration and spend more time with guests after the wedding ceremony is over. Because this was an LDS wedding, we couldn’t actually take photos of the ceremony, but we were able to take a few of the balloon release they did in memory of their departed family, which happened outside.
Finally, we headed to the Holiday Inn for a lovely reception full of good food, dancing, and an all-around great time.
I had to start with this photo first, as it’s my favorite portrait from the Olbrich Gardens. Aren’t they just lovely in it?
Will was patiently waiting in the Olbrich Gardens to see his Bride for the first time. It was really sweet.
First looks are my favorite. It’s just a great moment for the couple that isn’t in front of hundreds of people.
Next we headed to Tenney Park to take some wedding party photos. Sarah nannies for these two little guys, and they were super excited to finally be at her wedding.
The Balloon Release, surrounded by friends and family.
The kids especially enjoyed it.
Quick heal click, then it was off to the Holiday Inn for the reception.
I’m jealous of this kid. Wouldn’t that just be super fun to do at a dance?
The guys knew how to party. It was a blast.
Couldn’t resist taking a photo at sunset. It was just beautiful.
